A Fantastic Celebration of Numbers and Fun!
What an incredible week we had celebrating Maths Week at St. Mary’s NS Ballygarrett! The school was buzzing with excitement and energy as pupils of all ages engaged in a variety of fun, hands-on mathematical activities.
Throughout the week, all classes took part in Maths Trails around the school grounds, exploring how maths connects to the world around us in creative and practical ways. Pupils also joined interactive webinars, discovering fascinating mathematical ideas in action.
Our senior classes put their problem-solving skills to the test in a lively Maths Quiz on Wednesday, while the week culminated in our much-anticipated Maths Fair on the Friday— an inspiring event where every class got the chance to enjoy games, puzzles, and challenges together. Thank you to Rang 6!
It was a brilliant experience from start to finish — full of teamwork, curiosity, and plenty of smiles! A huge thank you to all the teachers, SNAs, and pupils for their enthusiasm and participation throughout the week.
