Hi from Rang a Sé
In Term 2, 6th class have been busy researching about the work that Irish Aid does with countries around the world and in particular the work that they do in Mozambique, Africa.
In doing so, we have created different projects within the class – fact poster, power point presentations, African – inspired artwork and many others. As Irish Aid works with the people in Mozambique on how to live sustainably, we also researched some Irish sustainable companies that we could get involved with and then discussed the work that they do for the environment. All of these projects have been submitted as an entry for the Our World Awards 2026. Best of luck to 6th class with their entry!
Also in Term 2, we had a look at the 7 modern wonders of the world. 6th class wrote a report on the wonders of the world and we also made some replicas out of clay. See some photographs!!!
