Active Schools News
Our Active School Committee includes the following pupils: Max and Ross from first class, Freddie and Alicia from second class, Eva and Lucy from third class, Dylan and Polly from fourth class, Jake and Darragh from fifth class and Jack and Gary from sixth class.
At the moment, we are busy working on our Active Break Challenge. Each class has been taking a few minutes each day to commit to a movement break. We have been exercising, dancing, running and using the walkway.
We are also making use of our equipment, giving some to each yard and we will also be swapping these around so that each class experiences the various equipment.
Active Agents are encouraging every class to participate in Active homework on Wednesdays. During their report at the monthly assembly, they are also demonstrating and encouraging participation in sample exercises as the whole school exercises together.
