Holy Sacraments

Pupils in Second Class are prepared each year for the Sacraments of Penance and First Holy Communion.

Fifth and Sixth Class are prepared for the Sacrament of Confirmation, which is administered in Ballygarrett every second year.

Please see our school calendar for the dates of these ceremonies.

Parents’ Association

The Parents’ Association is a very valuable asset to the school. Each year the school benefits from numerous activities organised by the PA such as fundraising events and fun events for the children and their families. Please see our Parents’ Association page for more information.

School Bus

The school has a bus service, which is operated by Mr. John Roche. Further details can be had from the school secretary.

Book Rental

Our school has a book rental scheme in operation which is run by the Parents’ Association. For further information please contact the school or any Association member. A limited amount of money is made available to the school for the purchases of books where circumstances merit this assistance being given. Further details of this scheme can be had from the school Principal.

Savings Scheme

We have operated a very successful Savings Scheme for a long number of years in conjunction with the Post-Office. Children bring in money each Monday. They can withdraw their savings at Christmas, for swimming lessons, school trips and tours and at the end of the school year.
