We recently held a debate in the G.P. room where 5th class students debated on two motions: ‘World Hunger Will be Eliminated by 2030’ and ‘Primary School Children Under 12 Should Not Have a Mobile Phone’. Every year we raise funds for a charity at Christmas. This year 6th Class and the Parents’ Association joined together to help fundraise €250 towards charity. All pupils and teachers were asked to wear their Christmas jumpers to school and donate €1 to charity.   We decorated pine cones for Christmas and it was lots of fun. We got pine cones and then we brought them into class to paint them. They had lots of different colours and plenty of glitter!
