Space Week 2021

We were delighted to host our Space Week 2021 this year after postponing it last year. Thank you to Mrs Healy & Mrs Mary Doyle for organising all the different activities and competitions. The pupils were delighted to see some of our themed weeks returning. The pupils made wonderful mission patches, moon landing machines, bottle rockets and beautiful art work to raise awareness. Each class made a planet from our solar system and we are looking forward to installing our scaled 3D model of the solar system in our General Purpose area. Thank you to our parent, Ronan Healy, for setting up the rocket launch station during the week. The pupils loved designing, constructing and launching their rockets. Well done to all our competition winners, we hope they enjoy their space pack prizes. Please look through our photo gallery to get a sense of some of the activities and creations from our Space Week.
