We recently held a debate in the G.P. room where 5th class students debated on two motions: ‘World Hunger Will be Eliminated by 2030’ and ‘Primary School Children Under 12 Should Not Have a Mobile Phone’. Each team had a captain and three other speakers who spoke on the opposition or proposition for their motion. It was interesting to hear both sides arguments and points. Though the scores were extremely close there had to be a winner from each debate but a huge well done to all speakers.  A big thank you also to our judges, chairperson, timekeeper and the other classes who were our audience on the day.
