On the 10th February at 10am the staff and students of St. Mary’s took on Operation Transformation’s 10 @ 10 challenge. This involved ten minutes of fun, fast exercises for all to get involved in. Well done to the members of Mr Nimmo’s Chess Club who represented the school in the All Wexford Chess Team Competition on 08/02/2017. The level of interest in chess within the school continues to grow and we were delighted to have two teams represent the school in both the junior and senior competitions. Thank you to Mr Nimmo for his hard work in teaching and organising chess within the school.
We hosted Grandparents’ Day this year on February 1st, Lá Fhéile Bríde, in association with Catholic Schools’ Week! All our pupils and staff worked so hard in the previous days decorating the school and rehearsing songs, poems and dance.
