The musicians in our school meet every Wednesday to practise and learn traditional Irish music. Mr Nimmo arranges the group each Wednesday, he also joins in as he plays the banjo. The group possess great variety with tin whistles, violins, a flute, guitars, a harp and a banjo. The group recently played for the members of the Defence Forces when they came to visit the school. They are now preparing to accompany the school during the Christmas carol service. Some of our members have represented Ballygarrett in the Junior Scór na nÓg competition recently. The group is always recruiting new members throughout the school
